The short version
GatherUp covers a lot of ground. Its core plans include feedback and review requests, Net Promoter Score surveys, review monitoring across more than 100 sites, AI-assisted replies, widgets and a full reporting suite, with agency white-label plans and paid add-ons for review disputes and directory listings.
Rocket Review does a smaller set of things: it asks customers for Google reviews by email or SMS/TXT, gives every customer the choice of a public review or private feedback, and lets you reply to Google reviews and track your rating. Both list a Xero integration.
If you are an agency, run many locations, or need NPS and monitoring of review sites beyond Google, GatherUp is built for that. If you are a single business that wants more Google reviews, Rocket Review costs less and is simpler to run.

Switching from GatherUp
Your Google reviews stay on your Google Business Profile and appear in Rocket Review once you connect it. Export your customer list from GatherUp or your own system as a CSV and import it, or connect Xero.
If you are on a GatherUp annual plan, it is a full-year commitment even when paid monthly, so time your switch around the end of the term. You can run Rocket Review's trial alongside it in the meantime.
