Rocket Review vs Birdeye
Rocket Review vs Birdeye
Birdeye is a large all-in-one platform for multi-location brands. Rocket Review does one job, getting small businesses more Google reviews, with published prices you can see before you sign up.
Starts the Growth plan, AUD $59/month after your 14-day trial. Cancel before day 14 and you pay nothing.
The short version
Birdeye and Rocket Review both help businesses get and manage reviews, but they are built for different customers. Birdeye is a broad platform that covers reviews, business listings, social media, customer messaging and, more recently, AI agents, and it markets itself to multi-location brands. Its pricing form starts at 1 to 3 locations and goes past 1,000.
Rocket Review is deliberately narrower. It asks your customers for Google reviews by email or SMS/TXT, gives every customer the choice of a public review or private feedback, and lets you reply to Google reviews and track your rating from one dashboard. Both tools list a Xero integration; Rocket Review also lists its prices on the website.
If you run one to five locations and mainly want more Google reviews without a sales process, Rocket Review is likely the simpler fit. If you need listings, social and messaging for many sites under one contract, Birdeye is designed for that.

Which one suits you
Rocket Review suits you if
- You want more Google reviews, not a whole marketing platform
- You have one location, or up to five on Pro
- You use Xero, or can export a customer list as a CSV
- You want to see the price before you talk to anyone
- You want to start this week without a sales call
Birdeye may suit you better if
- You run many locations and want one contract across all of them
- You also need listings, social posting and customer messaging
- You need reviews from many sites, not just Google
- You have a team to run a larger platform day to day
Pricing
As at October 2026, Birdeye does not publish prices on its pricing page. It asks for your business email, company, number of locations and mobile number, then provides pricing. Expect the price to depend on your locations and the products you choose.
Rocket Review lists every plan: Starter $39, Growth $59 and Pro $99 a month, in AUD.
| Plan | Per month | Review requests by | Locations | Also |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $39 | 1 Google location | Xero, CSV and manual import | |
| Growth | $59 | Email and unlimited SMS/TXT | 1 Google location | Priority support |
| Pro | $99 | Email and unlimited SMS/TXT | Up to 5 Google locations | Assisted onboarding, custom connector assessment |
Prices in AUD. Every monthly and annual plan starts with a 14-day trial. Annual plans cost eleven months, so one month is free.
Switching from Birdeye
Your Google reviews belong to your Google Business Profile, not to the tool you use to ask for them, so nothing is lost when you change. Connect your profile in Rocket Review and your existing reviews appear in the dashboard.
For customers, connect Xero or export a list from your current system as a CSV and import it. Check your contract with Birdeye for notice periods before you cancel, and run both side by side during your trial if you want to compare results.
